Æstetikkens dannelse

Hvorfor udøver kunsten en særlig fascination?

Foredraget giver et overblik over æstetikhistorien gennem de seneste 250 år: fra Baumgarten, Kant og Schiller til Hegel, Nietzsche, Heidegger og Adorno. Med blik bagud til Platon og antikkens poetik og udblik til klassicisme, romantik, mal du siècle litteratur, samt udviklingen inden for billedkunst.

Herigennem belyser foredraget også, hvordan æstetikken og kunsten tematiserer vores grundlæggende væremåde på uafsluttet vis.
